The Roosters Floorball Club signs a MoU with Youth Floorball Academy (YFA) in Singapore. This is the first time an Australian club has sought to collaborate with a Floorball club internationally. Ben Kosterich the president of the Roosters Floorball had this to say about the partnership.
“The partnership between Roosters and YFA in Singapore shows that when you start speaking to people in the floorball community anything is possible. The potential for junior and senior players from both countries to play floorball in different jurisdictions is just amazing to see. As the quality of junior and senior players continues to improve in Australia, we as a club are committed to helping players and coaches progress into the international floorball arena. This partnership is fundamental to the advancement of floorball across Asia pacific region”
The clubs will look to help promote player, umpire and coach development with this partnership. In the future the clubs will look to host tournaments and grow Floorball across Australia and Singapore.
